Insight Global is seeking a dedicated and experienced OR Circulator Nurse to join our surgical team in Creve Coeur, MO. The OR Circulator Nurse plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the surgical suite and providing exceptional patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.

• Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Ensure all surgical instruments are sterilized and functioning properly.
• Monitor the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment.
• Assist in positioning the patient safely before surgery.
• Verify patient information and surgical site before the procedure begins.
• Document all aspects of the surgical procedure in the patient’s chart.
• Coordinate with anesthesia providers to ensure patient safety.
• Manage the flow of the operating room and anticipate the surgical team’s needs.
• Handle specimens taken during surgery and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Assess the patient's condition and readiness for discharge from the post-anesthesia care unit.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families before and after surgery.
• Maintain inventory of surgical supplies and reorder as needed.

Must Haves: 

• 2 years of Circulator experience
• OR experience
• RN license in MO

Plusses: 

• Ambulatory Surgery Center site experience preferred
